Painting!

Today in Art Class we learned how to do Chinese Brush Painting.

There is a whole lot to learn about using the brush.

First you dip the tip of your brush in a little water. 

Not much, just enough so that your brush gets a perfect point.

Than we tried painting with water on paper towels. 

To learn how to use the brush and have control over it.

Then you dip it in ever so little black paint. Just enough to make the tip black.

Again we tried painting on a piece of paper towel.

To clean the brush you "paint out the paint" on a piece of paper towel. 

Dip it slightly in water and paint out the remaining paint.

With this type of brush you can make really fine lines.
