Making Name Posters!

We're making posters of our names using pastel crayons.
It's messy work but the pictures turn out beautiful!

Long weekend!

The first week of school is almost over. We've had three nice days together, although very warm days!
The class is great, they get along well and they seem to be working well together also. We've been doing some activities to get to know each other better, we have had our first classes in Science and Art, and we have also started doing some math assessments. Thank you very much for bringing in supplies already during this week! It helps to have it all ready right from the start.

Now a long weekend is waiting for us. We hope you all will have a great Labor Day and that the weather stays warm and nice, and not too windy!

Happy Friday!
We're looking forward to seeing you again on Tuesday!

New Page!

At the top our blog are a few pages with additional information about it and about us. I've added a page called About or blog where you can read more about what it is for, and also how I think around the way we're using it. If you have any questions feel free to contact me, either through e-mail or just come into the classroom and ask me! You find my e-mail in the side menu.

Welcome back!

Welcome to a new schoolyear with the Intermediate Class.
Half of the class are new students, however all are not new to the school,
and half of the class are the same students from last year.
The teachers are the same as last year!
Jeri and Anki.
Anki is also going to be teaching music at the school this year.
We're looking forward to an exciting and eventful year together!
We will learn a lot of new things, practice on things we've learned earlier and we will share some of our work and thoughts right here on the blog.

The blog is a learning place.
A tool for us where we can practice and use what we've learned.
A form of documentation of what we do in school.
And also a place for you, the parents, to see more of what we do,
and to take part in our work by leaving comments and pose questions.

We hope that you will visit this blog frequently and that you leave a short comment, or long, when you've visited. It's a tremendous appreciation and inspiration for the students to see that what we put on here is actually read by someone!
And the comments makes it much more fun to participate and contribute to it!

So please, come in and visit!
We love to share our work!

And again -

Welcome Back!
